Successful Manila Trip

On Thursday Andrey and I successfully submitted the "Advanced Processing of an Orphan" form with the US Citizen and Immigration Service at the US Embassy. It was a surprisingly quick and smooth process. We were fingerprinted and paid a large fee. We'll have to submit our home study report to them once it's ready and then we can check that big-deal to-do item off our list. It's very satisfying to have that done.
